People Change/,

This week Magaly has invited us to explore the feelings of despair and delight as our poetic muse.

My thoughts on the prompt:

Both the feelings of delight and despair can have genesis in personal experiences. These feelings can also birth due to circumstantial factors and also on account of people around us whom we call our own and with whom we have a sense of belongingness.

My response to the prompt:

People change
With age
With time
With experience
With purpose
With motive
With pain
Yet there are a few
Who remain
As they were/are
Like rocks
Entrenched to roots
Forever

(It's again a matter of debate - those who remain unchanged through course of time: do they lack in adaptivity ? Do they in the long run head towards obsoletion ? Is their quality of unchageability an unnecessary obstinacy? Or do they epitomise the  timeless values ultimately catalysing civilizational growth?)
